Quality and cosy

Our wool quilt arrived very quickly despite warnings about COVID delays. The quality was obvious as soon as unwrapping the quilt and is has proved to be warm and cosy, and not heavy at all, during a Melbourne winter.

500gsm wool Quilt

I chose halcyon dreams as they were all Australian made and using all Australian wool. This was my first priority, but it was the July price, that sold me, it was half price compared to the others. The one other factor was, the way you explain the difference between “washable” and “non washable” and for me, who doesn’t want any chemicals added to wool or the wool treated with a chemical, it was an easy decision. This was the only site that explained that and that had the two options. Thanks Halcyondreams. I’m now able to sleep with less clothes and the window open wider, even in Melbourne’s winter, fresh air is so good for you when you’re sleeping. Cheers
Cosy in winter but not too hot

Living in Melbourne we wanted something capable of keeping us warm during the colder months but not too hot as my partner’s temperature runs warmer than my own. It’s fulfilling the requirements so far. Not too heavy as you might expect with a wool quilt and very cosy without being uncomfortably hot. Sometimes I would get hot flushes overnight with our previous down quilt so happy to report that so far this has not been the case. Very happy also to be supporting an Australian made product. Thanks!
Bought doona

Brought a king size Doona two weeks ago, its the warmest and most comfortable I’ve had in years highly recommend. Ordered and shipping turned up within time estimated. Couldn’t be happier now bought for the whole family.

I recently bought the winter weight Doona for my daughter, I loved the quality but it was too hot for her. Halcyon Dreams were happy for me to swap with the lighter weight Doona, no questions asked and even paid the return postage, shipping was very fast for both items. Superb quality product, a fraction more expensive than some other "Australian " brands, ( which are made in China) but comparing the quality of my Halycon quilt, worth every cent of the price paid. I am absolutely delighted, a very high quality and, MADE IN AUSTRALIA.
